Our English project is a drama. We have written this ourselves and it's actually going very smoothly, which takes away stress from our other projects. The drama is called Same Love and it's about homosexuality in different eras.
Our Irish project is on short movies in the Irish language and basically we have to do a review on one or maybe more? In truth, I don't know what's really going on because everything is vague and mumbled that comes out of said teacher's mouth.
Science is one of the more stressful projects. At the minute we are preparing a poster and booklet for the Scifest exhibition. The only problem is we are not organised at all and we still haven't completed our experiment or our survey, even though the whole project is due very soon. The only thing that is completely solid is our title and our background research on caffeine and coffee products.
Our Religion project is definitely an eye-opener. We are taking part in writing a book about one of The Millennium Development Goals along with Self Help Africa. The goal we are focusing on is Preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and other diseases. Me and Aisling are contributing by drawing a half/half portrait. On one side there will be an Irish woman and on the other side there will be an African woman. The caption will be "It's Not Only in Africa". We want to show that these things are not limited to third world countries and that lots of people in Ireland suffer from HIV/AIDS and other diseases.
Fortunately the projects are all good fun and they help us build friendships with other people in TY.
